The last vehicle we bought, we didn’t buy locally. We tried, but we felt the dealership we were working with weren’t quite in line with what we were looking for. We didn’t actively go out and look at other dealerships in our area, but did happen to come across one where we like the vehicle, we liked the sticker price, we like what they were willing to trade … and so we bought. So, buying locally is definately not written in stone for us. When we are looking for our next vehicle, we might have to go down the road a bit and check out Conklin Cars, a Kansas Car Dealer in Newton, KS. Its less than a 2 hour drive for us, and advertise to have the best price, selection and service. They also have dealerships in Salina and Hutchinson, which is just a short jaunt down the road from us. Conklin Cars have 10 manufacturers to choose form, and over 300 used cars in their ever changing inventory, as well as new cars, trucks and SUVs.
