I am always a little timid to go in public bathrooms these days. Gone are the days where you pull the handle to flush or manuever the faucets at the bathroom sinks to wash your hands. Its all automated. And yet sometimes, you are looking for the things to make them work, and feeling like an idiot because its just not there, and yet, nothing is happening. And then, as you contemplate just walking away, it flushes. Or you are waving your hands in front of the faucet, trying to get the water to come one. And then look around to see if anyone is watching. Is it just me and I’m an idiot? I understand the health factors behind all the new automated features, but it still always makes me a little nervous to walk into a bathroom I’ve never been in, and wondering if I will be able to figure everything out.
