Rewarding Myself With Quiet Time
Posted by Prairierose on Mar 08, 2009There are days. And then there are days. And today is one of those days — that I would just like to run off and seclude myself. Not have any committments, to family, to church, to work. Of course that isn’t going to happen, and I won’t be searching for Outer Banks rentals or a secluded cabin in the wilds of Tennessee any time soon. I might pack up our camper and head to our nearest rececreation park and just hide out there. That is about as close as I will get to finding that nice quiet seclusion I long for. There is a lot going on right now, and I just don’t want to deal with it. But life doesn’t work that way, and its best I just hit it head on, deal with it, and then maybe reward myself with a bit of quiet time later.
